Tel Aviv – “The White City” Weekend Tours Program

You will be greeted at the airport by a representative from Mazada Tours.
Transfer to accommodations in Tel Aviv.
After breakfast, we will begin the day in the city’s largest open-air market: the Carmel Market.
We will wander through the market into the backstreets of the neighboring historic Yemenite quarter.
There, we will learn about the development of Israeli cuisine throughout history and how four generations of vendors are able to maintain their shops after almost 100 years.
Hear stories from vendors whose families were shop owners for generations, as well as new shops set on revitalizing the hip neighborhood.
You will taste some of the country’s freshest street food, including hummus, fresh local produce, homemade baked goods, and Mediterranean cuisine.
We will walk along the pedestrian mall of Nahalat Biynamin, alive with live street music, art, and handmade jewelry.
Once you’ve had your fill, we will stop at the Levinsky Market to learn about its Greek and Iranian immigrant heritage dating back to the 1920s. Next, we will drive to Sarona to learn about the German Colony and make a stop for a late lunch.
You will have the rest of the day to explore Tel Aviv on your own or spend time by the beach. Return to your hotel in Tel Aviv.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will set out to learn about The White city and its UNESCO heritage Bauhaus architecture.
Explore the modern architectural styles of the 1930s along the bustling Rothschild Boulevard. Hear the story of Tel Aviv from its beginning to today, and take the opportunity to savor the experience of life in Tel Aviv.
Continue to the ancient port city of Jaffa, famous not only for its link to biblical figures such as Jonah and Solomon but also for its association with the mythological Andromeda and Perseus.
View the famous clock tower and enjoy a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
You will also visit ancient ruins and walk along the Artists’ Quarter. Next, visit Neve Tzedek, an area known for its artistic atmosphere and European vibe.
Return to your Tel Aviv hotel.
