M-808: History to Modernity: Jerusalem and Tel Aviv – Tour Program

Tour Overview

Discover From the ancient city of Jerusalem to the bustling beaches of Tel Aviv, come and explore the best that Israel has to offer.

Day 1 - Thursday: Welcome to Israel!

You will be greeted at the airport by a representative from Mazada Tours.

Transfer to accommodations in Tel Aviv.

Day 2 - Friday: Historical Tel Aviv

After breakfast at your hotel, you will set out to learn about The White city and its UNESCO heritage Bauhaus architecture.
Explore the modern architectural styles of the 1930s along the bustling Rothschild boulevard.
Hear the story of Tel Aviv from its beginning to today, and take the opportunity to savor the experience of life in Tel Aviv.
Continue to the ancient port city of Jaffa, famous not only for its link to biblical figures such as Jonah and Solomon, but also for its association with the mythological Andromeda and Perseus. View the famous clock tower and enjoy a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
You will also visit ancient ruins and walk along the Artists’ Quarter. Next, visit Neve Tzedek, an area known for its artistic and European vibe. Return to your Tel Aviv hotel.

Day 3 - Saturday: Jerusalem Old & New

After breakfast, you will drive to Jerusalem where we will begin in the Old City.
We will walk along the excavated Roman Cardo, the ancient street of the city, and we will visit the Herodian Quarter for a breathtaking view of the Mount of Olives.
We will continue to the Western Wall, part of the wall that surrounded the ancient temple of Jerusalem.
We will then pass the Via Dolorosa and walk towards the Church of the Resurrection, the place where Jesus was crucified and buried.
We will visit the historical quarters of the Old City, and then we will drive to the new city and visit the Israel Museum.
There, you will be able to see the ancient Dead Sea scrolls and a model of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period. Transfer back to hotel in Tel Aviv.

Day 4 - Sunday: Departure

Check out of your hotel and transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your departure.
