You will be greeted at the airport by a representative from Mazada Tours.

Transfer to accommodations in Tel Aviv.

Day 2 - Friday: Jerusalem and Bethlehem

Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem and continue to Mount Zion where you will visit the Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper.

Take in the striking architecture of Dormition Abbey before entering the Old City of Jerusalem, taking the narrow winding streets through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters. You will walk the excavated Byzantine-era Cardo road which is dated at 1,500 years old.

You will proceed to the Kotel, also known as the Western Wall or the Wailing Wall, where you will be able to feel the ancient stones beneath your fingertips and feel free to place handwritten notes between the cracks*.

After this, you will continue by walking the Via Dolorosa, which is known as the path that Jesus walked during the crucifixion and is marked by the Stations of the Cross. You will end this portion of the tour at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified, buried, and is believed to have been resurrected.

Next, you will continue with a drive to Bethlehem, where both Jesus and King David were born. Walk through Manger Square to the Church of the Nativity. This church was commissioned by Constantine the Great in 327, it is located over the cave where it is believed that Jesus was born. You will see Shepherds’ field, the site where the shepherds saw the Star of the Nativity.
After your meaningful day of touring, you will be returned to your hotel.

Here, you will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, where an angel is said to have appeared to Mary to tell her that she would give birth to Jesus. You will also visit the Church of St. Joseph while in Nazareth, which is built in the Romanesque Revival style.

Next, you will continue to Tiberius, located on the Western Shore of the Galilee. Tiberius is known as one of Judaism’s four holy cities and is a meaningful location for Jewish and Christian pilgrimage.

Drive along the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, where you will view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. From here, you will travel to Tabgha and visit the church where the Miracle of Fish and Loaves occurred.

Your final stop on this tour will be the famous baptismal site of Yardenit, where the Jordan River flows out from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea. Take a moment to reflect at this site and enjoy the tranquil setting before returning to your hotel for overnight.
